Patience is a Virtue I Haven’t Learned

I’ve been selling patterns on Ravelry since the November of last year. Well, technically I haven’t sold any yet. It’s frustrating. I see patterns that I personally find unattractive, and yet they get more attention than what mine do. Sure, it might be due to the fact I don’t have very many friends on Ravelry, or maybe because I haven’t been on Ravelry long enough. Maybe, I am too Impatient.

I know I shouldn’t complain. I have a lot to be grateful for. A part of me is wondering why I even decided to write this. I guess I just needed to get that off my chest.

Jealousy aside, I’m very happy for those who can successfully sell patterns. I hope to one day be successful too. But if I never am, that’s okay. Anyway, enough of that. I’m tired of complaining.

On a side note, I recently bought some flamenco music. It’s really fun to dance to. When I finally stop being lazy, maybe I will actually learn how to dance the flamenco.

Berlioz’s Many Sleeping Spots

Berlioz sleeps in a variety of places. Some are a little strange, but he still manages to look adorable.

Most of them aren’t that surprising. I mean, the couch is obviously comfortable. I know cats have different preferences as far as “comfort” goes. But still, I can’t grasp why he’d want to sleep in a metal mixing bowl…

To be honest, I think its kind of comical. You walk into the kitchen one day, and see your cat sleeping in a mixing bowl. I wonder how many people can say that.

He also sleeps in a plastic storage basket. I ended up leaving it by the sofa because he likes it so much.

This is kind of off topic, but some of you may not know this. I learned that cats like different types of cat scratchers. Their needs vary just like their personalities vary. As it turns out, the cat tree we got for Berlioz was not the kind that he likes. He likes soft carpet, while the tree was made out of rough sisal. Needless to say, we ordered a carpet-covered cat tree and it’ll be here in about a week.

Make sure the cat scratcher you have fits your cats’ needs. If you have a cat, that is. Also, don’t spend too much money on a cat bed. Your cat may not use it…
